The last weekend in Novembrer is usually the time for our traditionnel "Open Days" weekend, or "Portes Ouvertes" as we say in French !
Last year more than 500 visitors enjoyed the weekend
- tasting (or re-discovering!) our wide selection of wines
- enjoying and buying local products, including :
- foie gras and other specialities from local producer Mitteault
- oysters direct from Ile de Re, on the Vendee coast, from Jacky Puyo
- local honey from Christian and Nicole Minaud
plus, new for 2006, our freshly-cooked "fouees" (hot bread, baked in our traditional wood oven and served with a variety of fillings)
