We have now been winegrowers in the Saumur region for over 6 years .
Christine and Hervé both come originally from Pas de Calais region in the north of France ( Monteuil sur Mer and Hesdin ).
Christine worked in IT for a bank in Arras , and Hervé was a sales manager in manager in agrochemicals in the Pas de Calais area .
At the age of 40 , with three children , they decided to make a major life-style change- and so the family moved to the sunny tourist area of the southern Loire , and took over a well-established old wine-growing business here in Sanziers ,le Puy Notre Dame ..."The Domaine of the Mill on the Horizon" , in English !
